Flava indica

Louisville, KY

I got this from my friend in Alabama a few years back. It is probably a species or a seedling from a species of indica. It seems to be flava which is genetic mutation much like being variegated. Flava usually means it has this neon yellow green look all over the plant. The flowers are small and yellow but I hope to breed with this and hopefully get nice flowers on a flava leaf.

That I like Brian.

I tend to pick most of my cannas for leaf interest and this would surely stand out by it's color .

Good luck.

I've found myself really getting in to golden foliages, and that's a great one. I used to always think they looked nitrogen deficient, but my tastes are changing as I get older. Oh who am I kidding, it's just another step down the road to being a total plant junkie! LOL
