African Purple Rain Mask Plant - Alocasia , Invasive or Not?

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I really love this plant, but don't want to plant something that will be difficult to remove if I need to. I have read that some of the "Ears" can be tough because they spread so much.

Thanks.

No, not invasive.

Thanks.

Shuggins....The purple mask alocasias are not at all invasive...some of the colocasias can be, if in a damp location (some of those produce runners) but not the alocasias usually.
