Aren't you having so much fun now? LOL

Corte Madera, CA

hi, twyla. thanks. this also came from seedman. i was spanking new here when i bought them. funny how their site have photos of brugs and dats and use them interchangeably. i did end up with brugs - - - luckily, and they bloomed within 7 months from germination.

i like the shape of this one.

kell, i am having so much fun, indeed. so many bees in the area though. lol. they are working away!

i think the aphids do not know yet that i have plants here. knock on wood.

sometimes i think how i'm going to evolve as a brug gardener. probably not a fancy collector, but someone who'd grow seeds and evaluate them. takes me back to the lab in a way. a geek is always a geek.

thanks for looking.

You will be a grand hybridizer, Annapet of fancy brugs. LOL. And what fun you will have. You are so young too, so you will have a a long time to get great reuslts. I have never had aphids bother my brugs. They love my mandevilla and my hibiscus though.

I see a San Frnacisco sign south there 101. Are you right by 101? I should drive 101 till I see a pink brug hanging over a fence. LOL

awww, kell. that's sweet.

casa buena is a frontage road (if that's the term) off of paradise/tamalpais. you won't miss our cottage. the one under construction (and will be until 2008), and weeds everywhere. i love this place! found the property online one night i was crying and crying because our HOA in north beach was not going to approve my golden retriever puppy!

kell, you'll be a guest of honor when the remodel gets done.

thanks elva.

i took a cutting above the "y" on this one, trying my luck on rooting. nothing fancy - - - just tap water in a goblet. 24 hours later, i see nubbies. i'm having it sit there another day or so then pot it up. i just want to compare it with the well-rooted isabella cuttings laura (jazzp) sent me. those babies took off when given a couple of extra days in the goblet.

tee-hee, i'm going to check the classics about pollinating. brb.

when both parents are unknown?
