I recently received Mark Tebbitt's new Begonia book for my birthday from a friend. Unfortunately my husband had also bought the book for me :( I'm looking to exchange it and was wondering if anyone has any comments on Mildred and Edward Thompson's Begonias: The Complete Reference Guide?
Begonia Books
It's expensive if you can find it (out of print) It's a begonia lover's bible. I was reading it last night. GET IT!
My only comment that would lean toward the negative is that so many of the photos are black and white. :-(
I'd love to see them republish this book, with color!
Lali
Lali, boy did i screw up :( Found it yesterday at Amazon and one copy was available for $26.00. Went back this morning to order it quick and only copies available now are $80.00++! Guess I'll just have to wait awhile until I can find it cheaper. In the meantime I'll check out the library to see if they might have a copy.
WOW that would have been a score!
this book is also good. A lot of general info, leaning towards the tuberous, but some good info on other begonias as well. I would buy it used, looks like some are going for less than $2.

I also have Mark Tebbitt's book and I love it for a resourse book.
