Is this beautiful or what....please note that it is covered in seed heads so all you have to do is say the word and I'll give you seeds...
Native Morning glory type
It grows wild here in LA too. It is beautiful but from a distance!
Yes, it is beautiful indeed, I love those Morning Glories, no need to baby them, the popular name is Sharp-Pod Morning Glory, but they changed their scientific name,
they used to be( Ipomoea tricocarpa,)
now they are called( Ipomoea cordatotriloba ) just in case anybody cares.
I don't know why they change scientific names, it makes it all very confusing.
Josephine.
Thanks Josephine.....I know that many hate them because they are or can be invasive but I love them and plan to actually plant some on my fence ...The hummers love it and this huge plant is about 4 feet from my bedroom window so I could sit at the window and watch the hummers who were within an arms reach ...fasinating to watch...
Right you are, I have Turk's Cap close to my bedroom window and the same thing happens, Nature is really wondwerful!
Great...I have to get out there and pick the seed....someone else requested some also.....send me a message with your address and I'll try to get it done right away....
