My son is standing under this E.E and age of this plant is one year.
Kaleem
Who is this?
When I was in Sri Lanka, we used them as umbrellas. And as a kid, we used to hide under them (I grew up in Houston)
Your son is adorable!
I know, I live there during monsoon season! I NEVER heard lightning as loud as I did there and NEVER saw so many mosquitos. I would go back in an instant! I lived in Colombo and found both the island and it's people to be beautiful! some day I'll return!
LOL!
Kaleem that is a seriously nice photo set.
Sure to bring a smile to everyone's faces.
He looks 'Happy as a Clam'.
Is that Xanthosoma sagittifolium?
Ric
What a sweetie, Kaleem! Even your kitty wants to get into the picture.
:) Donna
Love the pictures! You grow nice ee's and boys there!
These are some great photos. Nice big plant and cute kid. I am pretty sure this is Xanthosoma Atroverins blue giant.
What a cutie, thanks for the photos.
What a handsome little boy you have there! I enjoyed seeing the pictures of him. Doris
Kaleem,
Thanks for the wonderful photos and letting us watch your precious son grow up.
It is very good to see you post again.
He is a very handsome little man. Keep a close eye on him. He will be taller than the EE in no time at all.

Thank you so much every body for the nice words for my son. I am posting his photos when he was only three months old and now he also expert and know how to come infront of camera, as usual my Manoo is also with us.
I dont know the name of this E.E , so I think bwilliams is right because he is expert in E.E.
Kaleem
They grow up fast, wonder how long before your son over takes the plant?
Mine have all grown taller than me!!!
And it really didn't take all that long! LOL
If your plant continues to survive, you should taka a photo of your son just like these about every 6 months or so. Then you can see how he changes each year.
Tropicman
This plant is one year old and my son is two years old so I think Zulqarnain will be smaller then this E.E ever.
begoniacrazii
Your idea is nice and I will try to do same and may be my son will be taller than this E.E. Although I am also shorter than this.....LOL
Kaleem
Gumilla, stranger things have happened, time will tell, nothing ever surprizes me much now!
What beauty....and I don't mean the plant......

When I am in the garden , my son and my Manoo roaming arround me. Many times they interfere in my working and result of this ..... both are awarded......with little hard words only....LOL.
Kaleem
Zulqarnain is growing up! Enjoy! BTW, what is Manoo?
Manoo is my Maoon( cat), actually we named her Maoon but Zulqarnaimn changed and call her Manoo. so you can see our Manoo in the photos.
Kaleem
Kaleem, your son is beautiful and is growing into a nice young man.
I have to post my ignorance about names in your country. Are you the Mommy or Daddy of this fine boy? I am ashamed that I have to ask.
Nancy Lee
NancyLee, Kaleem (gumlla) is Zulquarnain's proud dad.
Hugs,
Ursula
Thanks so much, Ursula.
I "googled" Kaleem and it showed a beautiful blue pix of a gentelman. Is that "our" Kaleem?
Hap
Kaleem, Your son looks like a fine young man, and I must say that you have some ENORMOUS elephant ears there. I also like your cute cat (we have 2 grey cats at my house), because I really like cats.
Kaleem has posted quite a few pictures of himself, his beautiful wife, his lovely son Zulquarnain and the rest of the family and friends, Nancy Lee.
Kaleem, could you please post he links so that Nancy Lee can see your pictures?
Ursula
Oh yes, please.
Nancy Lee
