I was a regular at *a different forum* but I hear that this is the place to be, so I'm here. I can already tell it's great!
I'm into: Trees & shrubs. Growing from seed. Seed exchange. Chickens. I'm new to Hostas...I'm an early hostaholic.
Hi! I'm glad to be here, from Pacific NW.

hello from the mid hudson valley in upstate new york
Welcome to Dave's Garden!
Hey Owl,
Welcome to DG. We are practically neighbors. lol Actually I visit your area about once a year and get my fix of green grass and lovely green trees too. We have friends near Amity so go spend a day or two with them yearly and go around to nurseries all over the area to bring home some neat new stuff to kill ( woops I mean to love) in our yard here in Western Idaho.
Hope you enjoy DG as much as so many of us do and visit often.

also from pac NW--we're west of seattle--big boating area--I'm a new gh owner...all of my gardening is pretty much container gardening because we have so much entrenched ivy and salal around which eat up every single bit of space and flowers & plants can't compete and I haven't been diligent enough to keep ivy & salal under control -- I have 25 huge (and I mean huge) planters which requires lots of replanting every spring, so with gh am able to winter my favorites over, and now am thinking I will have incentive to get at the ivy in the spring again. we tried digging it up 2 other times, only to have it all come back -- wish me luck
