This thing is so pretty. Just bloomed all summer long. Still going.

That's a beauty, Jim. Is it bothered by the heat?

Edited because I've gone back and read the post more carefully and therefore won't ask the question he just answered. DUH! :-[

Barb it has bloomed off and on all summer. It does seem to be blooming more now that it has turned off cool. You want a cutting to try in your bubbler when I cut it back?

That would be great and very much appreciated! You have D-mail.

Jim Golden Lady does love the cooler weather and will put out a lot of blooms in the fall.

Sweet Delisa was so generous with me and sent me 3 of her pink double cuttings. I was estatic and would like to have reached across the miles and hugged her neck. I don't know what I did wrong, but all 3 of them have died a slow death. Two of them died shortly after I potted them up, and the third one was looking great, putting on new foliage, etc. I thought I had finally reached success, but yesterday all of a sudden it looked completely wilted and today looks like it has expired as well. I've been very careful not to overwater these cuttings and used very porous potting soil. I'm just ill, and am confused as to what I did wrong. I feel so bad for both Delisa and myself, since she was so sweet to share with me, and I want a double pink so badly.

Beautiful Jim.
Sure is great having them bloom this time of year. Say did the blooms have a darker color during the summer months?
This was my first year having Golden Lady. She bloomed late & about the same color as yours. Just curious...

She's one of my favorites too! Hope you can dig her up, she just might show her peachy center! And I love her scent!
