I noticed Sammy wouldn't eat this morning. I thought he was just being stubborn. So later in the day I again offered him his bowl. He walked away. I had noticed twice today that his belly was rumbling and he had thrown up. After I offered him a piece of chicken and he refused I really got worried and ran him to the vet. He had a couple of diarrhea stools today also. The vet said Sammy has parvo. He will need to stay for IV therapy for at least two days and then we will see if he can pull through this. I am just heart broken. I just pray I got him to the vet early enough to save him. I would appreciate if you would keep him in your prayers tonight. He had gotten all of his shots, including his parvo shot. Since he was 12 weeks old when I got him I guess he might have been already carrying the virus.
This little guy has already gone through so much in his young life. Thanks
