Begonia seeds & propagation

Brownsville, KY(Zone 6a)

Does anyone know of a source for begonia seeds? Has anyone tried growing rexes or other types of begonias from seed?

I would also like to learn how others propagate begonias from leaves and any tips for success.

Shirley,
I can't grow Rex's for nothin but the cane types are a sinch in my zone, with the exception of fungus they are easy.
The larger cane's and angel wing basket type are fairly easy to hybridize, if you want to try to make your own crosses.
Canes are easiest from cuttings, they will root in water or potting mix.You can grow them from a leaf section but it takes a lonng time and best done in a prop box.

The Rexes are easier from a leaf section than the cane types.

Try Brad's page it has tons of infoalready written out...if you need any other help just let me know.
