It sure is beautiful and does bloom all the time ! I don't know it's name. I think the tag only said wax Begonia :))

patootie is right, it is Dragon Wing. There are two, one is red (I think that is the one you have) and one is pink. I have both but the pink did the performance this year. I had red in the wrong spot, not enough sun or attention.

Lovely!! I have the red Dragon Wing too.....planted him, took a pinch cutting and planted it too. The little pinch put on a couple of baby leaves, then bloomed right along w/the mother plant! I LOVE the clear coloring of the leaves & blooms.

What a nice husband you have, Violet_Treasure. =)

Thank you ! So it's easy to grow new plants ? Just take a cutting and put into soil ? It's in a new pot now and doubled in size, always happy and blooming !

Definitely that easy! lol.......in fact, I did it in the midst of HOT Texas summer heat.....kind of even forgot about it? =o Noticed that it looked a bit putrid.......but, it trucked right along, perked up after I watered it (finally, bless its little heart) and bada-bing! =)

GREAT plant to own. And, you've reminded me that I need to take cuttings for overwintering!!
