This was taken about a month ago

Don't know what the moth larvae ate but who cares, he's cute.
I call him Stripey.

Stripey is one of the Tiger Moths in the genus Grammia, but I can't quite match him to any of the species on these pages:

Did you notice whatr colour his hind wings were?

No he was sitting on the house siding around the outdoor light one evening so this is all I got of his wings.
I never thought about doing that. I also got a big spinx moth but the picture was blurry. He was a big one. LOL
And then I got the one of the moth who's larvae eat maple leaves. He was yellow and pink, very pretty also.
I could probably guess which one it was by what plants are in the area. Let me see what the larvae chomp on.
