Yippee Hoya score

I was out prowling for hoyas yesterday, and I found this nummerloides fully blooming. I have no luck getting my little 2" pots of it to do anything, worry no more!!

There were two other nummerloides blooming. They both had yellow leaves with much more pink on them. Would this be different varieties or are they dying. They were much pretty, in my opinion, but I was worried they weren't healthy.

I found this one at a local gardencenter. I have had great luck with them in the past. They also had a huge pink silver in bloom, a variegated kerri, and hindu rope. I talked to the guy in the plant section and he said they even get multiflora's in from time to time. All of the hoyas were in 10" hanging baskets and they were only $14.99. I think the nummerloides had 3 plants in the basket, with long vines. The curtsii I found at home depot. I have seen curtsii's at home depot from time to time. Maybe you could ask the greenhouse manager at home depot to see if they could get any curtsii's from EA when they order next. I know Awanda had a home depot manager track down a retusa for her. Believe me, I had a streak of luck! I hardly ever find hoyas other than carnosa or hindu rope. The sun was shining on me Friday!

Great hoya score, Heather! Don't you just LOVE finding one already in bloom? Satisfies that need for instant gratification!

Nice score.. I am really going to have a chat with our HD manager. Now that I know the scoop on The Plant Stand, there will be no more excuses, I will bring crayons with me just in case a visual is necessary!!!

Super Heather! You hit the mother load! It does my heart good to walk in any garden center and see a Hoya, but, must admit that I have never seen any as nice as you found. The Hoya Gods are shining on you!!!
