Hoya lessons for a newbe

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

I knew this place had to exsist somewhere!
So, I have ordered several hoyas and they will be here soon what I need it a crash corse on the plants I impulse bought.
Hoya Australis
- lanceolata bella
- odorata
I love fragrant plants! have I chosen well? What do they like / dislike? What is the best light /soil conditions? What is your favorite Hoya?

Wow, that is a loaded question. I have an australis and a bella. I make sure the bella is moist at all times. My australis pretty much goes neglected. I have it in a cactus mix with added perlite. My bella is in the same soil it was in two years ago when I purchased it. It blooms faithfully. Check out some previous posts on light, soil. That will definitely help with some questions. Welcome to the mayhem.

Hey Heavinscent.... The best thing to do is go thru the posts, as Heather says....and then if you still have questions....sock it to us. You have chosen good ones.
