Fall crocus currently in bloom

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

Thought I'd share some of the fall crocus currently in bloom in my area. This is Crocus pulchellus 'Albus' growing in the alpine house of the botanical garden where I work.

And this is Crocus nudiflorus. Normally these bloom in mid-late September but these were left out of the ground too long and hence blooming was delayed.

Outside in my own garden is Crocus cancellatus.

Aren't those PRETTY!!!!! I've never had fall blooming crocus before, but I got some as a freebie from Bluestone, so we'll see how it does next year!
