Tucson, AZ(Zone 9a)

I'd posted some of these pictures before, but I wanted to put them into a little series.

Should have put this one in first...I held this little guy as a caterpiller, and then as an adult butterfly :)

What a neat series of photos.
Thanks.

Way to go! It's always a wonder and great sense of accomplishment to watch little butterfly eggs hatch out tiny cats and then watch those cats grow into big healthy ones. I am amazed at how a caterpillar and form a chrysalis and emerge a butterfly. Talk about a brain turning to mush! ...and I don't mean just mine! LOL!!!

You're doing a fantastic job with raising butterflies and getting some really good photos. Keep it up! Thanks for sharing too!

Thank you. I enjoy sharing. Just worry sometimes that these things are old hat, to some of the long time DGers, though :(

It truly amazes me!

Oh PiggyPoo, how exciting for you! I've been so out-of-touch for a while and missed your series of pics. I just love the Queens and the Monarchs! They are always exciting.

I was sad that I didn't have hardly any this year tho. :( Oh well, it's not like I'm going to quit trying!
