I just got in from Sammy's vet trip. When he walked in on all four feet everyone just stopped what they were doing and came running. They were amazed at how well he was doing putting weight on his left back foot. For those of you who don't know Sammy had a very badly fractured left back leg when I rescued him from the shelter.
With therapy twice a day he is now able to have almost full use of it except for bending his knee. He will never be able to do that but I am so proud of the progress he has made an all the hard work. I tried to get a picture of him standing well on his leg but it is very difficult.
As you can see in the first photo when I first got him all he could do was drag his leg and foot or point it straight out. I will post a couple pics of him using it. Very exciting for us!
