Why isn't this U. peltata? I don't get it..I've been told that few Uncarina's are the real U.peltata..but DG's U.peltata photos look more like this plant...and mine also. Isn't peltata latin for those mallow like leaves?
If even the wide leafs are U.decaryi too...shouldnt the very different wide leaf form have a name?
What do you think Geoff?

I don't know.. this was years ago, and though I still am fooled all the time, I pretty much believed any label that was on the plant… I don't know Uncarinas very well, so if you think it is something else, I am willing to agree.

Funny, I just went thru all the photos on this one and was going to mention the wide variation on the leaves and saw your discussion!

And to add after a couple of years? Those leaves can go from peltate on a young plant to smaller and more lobed on a plant a few years old. Plants will do that to you when you rush to ID.
