okay i have a small one growing about three feet now . it flowered and seeded. its still there but i know winter is coming in as we have had close to frost weather lately.
what do i do now with it once the freeze hits?? its mulched by the pine tree next to it. does it come back??
my first year growing then was this season.

Save the seed for next year (when the pods turn brown, then harvest the seed).
If you let the seed drop, it will probably self seed for next year. But if you want to control where it comes back, then treat this one like an annual and replant again next year from the seed you save.
The plant itself will be killed by cold weather and will need to be removed at some point.
