Can anyone ID these guys that are eating away on a Schefflera a friend just gave us? I brought it inside since it's getting cooler and noticed some new foliage/branches that were limp as if dried out. Well they are dried out but not from lack of water, these bugs are sucking the juices right out of them.
Here is 1 almost actual size photo that I'll follow with some serious macro/close up lens photo's.
BTW, I just use the macro setting on my camera then a macro lens with close up filters stacked on top.
Help Me ID this Pest on My Schefflera PLEASE.
I ran this same thread in the "Garden Foes" forum and there are more photo's in there if you care to look, here is the link:

Did I already mention seeing either 2 different pests or these bigger bugs had babies that are eating side by side? Forgive me if I'm repeating myself. LOL I have a minor pannick attack started over these things darnit. Anyhow, this photo shows a better view of the smaller bugs.
PLEASE let me know if you can ID these guys and how I should go about killing them. I'm moving it back outside right now before I find these bugs on all of my brugs and other treasured babies. I was so happy someone just gave me this huge plant and now I'm just sick with fear of an entire home infestation. Please pray they don't get to my passiflora's and brug's;)
Thanks friends!

Looks like Aphids to me.
There are thousands of different types.
Put the pot in the tub and blast them.
Then Safers or Neem if you can use that on Schefflera.
Fix you right up.

I can't believe I've never had them before and I had no ide there were so many varieties. I blasted them with Safer's before looking if it was safe for Schefflera use. I guess I'll know come morning huh?
Thanks for helping to put my mind at ease.
I had horrid visions as I've had to bring dozens of plants indoors.
I'm sure you can relate.
Thank you Sir;)
