The day after Wilma hit us, Scooter my Shih-zsu, got sick and vomiting. I took her to an emergency animal hospital and she was diagnosed with pancreatitus. I know very little about this illness. They tell me her blood count was too high so I will not be able to bring her home till tomorrow night if the count is normal. I can't pronounce the names they used to describe her condition except that she had to much fat in her system and this effected her pancreas. She has been on Science Diet S/D for bladder stones prior to this illness. I guess the Hill's Diet contains to much fat. I just don't know at this time but I hope she will be OK.
