I have so many of the orange one and heard they also come in yellow. Yellow would be so cool.
My neighbor lady admired my orange ones and wanted to know what they were. I gave her a handful of seed yesterday.
Now I want to add the yellow one to make it even more irresistable to the butterflies. Anyone have some for trade or sasbe?

OMG....I have tons of these...i believe they are the world's greatest plant...they are also called California Marigolds......they cheer you all day.....re seed...take little care...seem to love heat and cold...(although the leaves get brown in the heat..one can take them off)...NOW...the seeds do not come separated...mine are a mix of both...orange and yellow...contact me bob

WOW! Yellow you say? I've never seen it in yellow. I'd love to get in on some of these if possible. I have many other colors and color combo's to trade. I also have tons of other cool seeds if you like to trade. Please let me know, thanks for informing me of yellows;)

What is the difference in Cosmos, and Coreopsis, I have loads of seed from what I have been calling yellow Cosmas for years, now someone told me they are coreopsis.
E-gads, someone sent me a sample of the yellow ones too!! Now I am running around like the mad hatter trying to figure out where I put the seeds, LOL
You could do a plantfiles search, Kareoke and see the flowers. I bet they look similar now that I think about it. The cosmos is a lot taller plant, though.
Our orange cosmos are 2 different varietis. 1 is 3-5 ft tall and the other stays under 2 ft tall. I now have a bunch of 2 toned hybrids that self pollenated and self seed themselves every year, now they pop up all over the place just like cleome.
I've seen so many colors but the yellow has never shown itself here, that baffles me.
