my whereabouts, and streps

DC metro, VA(Zone 7b)

In case anyone wonders, I'm going to be travelling quite a bit in November and may not be checking the forum much. I just put a filter around the hybrid strep seed pods in case they completely ripen while I'm out.... and just harvested another pod or two of other seeds.... so more on that when I get back.

I'm laying some capillary matting under my trays of gessies, and going to set the heater at 65.... barely warm enough but hopefully I'll come back to alive (albeit a bit stressed) plants rather than dead stuff.

And a request to anyone who might be propagating named white or blue streptocarpus - I would love a starter plant so please keep me in mind. I like the simple flowers like Crystal Ice, Falling Stars, Gator's Trail and similar :-) I think we'd find something to trade.....

Oh, and the last issue of the AGGS's journal had some really nice articles on Titanotrichum oldhamii. I'm really enjoying the issues, now that I'm growing a variety of gesneriad species.

Stay warm and have fun.
