Once the buds are formed and fat and look ready to pop, how long does it take before they DO open up? I've had two buds on mine for at least two weeks now and I would have thought they would have opened up some already. Here is the larger of the two. They're nearly the same size, but this one is a bit larger. It bloomed several times when I had it outside earlier this summer, but I don't remember how long it took for them to open up.
Passiflora caerulea 'Blue Sky' buds
That first one looks almost ready! These (from my experiance) open at night or early morning but will only open fully in sunlight.

It's hanging in a south window, so it gets direct sunlight in the middle of the day. But it's looked like this for so long! I hope it just doesn't decide to not open at all! :-(
A watched pot never boils. LOL
LOL. You're probably right!
Well, I missed it anyway. The other one opened up sometime this afternoon, while I was in town picking up my grandma. The first one has closed up again, but I know it will reopen.
Sounds like they are "playing" with you. LOL
One year I grew four o clocks and morning glories. I didn't see much of anything as the glories opened after I left for work and the fours opened after it was dark. Not a good combo for a working person. Weekends were nice.
They're both closed again now. LOL. I think I should call it my Peekaboo Plant. LOL.
