My arborea had constant blooms all Summer also.

Tuffy and arborea were the only ones that did bloom until the cooler Fall weather set in.

I notice different brugs do different things in different years. A lot has to do with my fertilizing and how long they have been in their pot.

Ones in the ground seem to be more consistent. Rosamond and Pink Beauty seem to always have flowers on them. Sexy Lady too. Also some bloom in flushes while others have fewer blooms but more frequently.

Are you saying one year your brug will only bloom in flushes, and then next year blooms are on a regular bases?
Or are you talking different vareities bloom only in flushes, while other vareities bloom a little but consistent?

I am saying the second. But I notice if my brug has not been repotted in fresh soil and is crammed into a 5 gallon pot for 2 years, it tends to just sit there looking at me. Where as if the same variety is in the ground or has been taken good care of in a pot, it blooms all season happily.

So if you want blooms you must feed these babies pretty heavy, and on a regular bases!
