Where I winter my hoyas...

Mt Zion, IL(Zone 5b)

I admit there are times when I'm green with envy of all you people who can winter your hoyas OUTSIDE. But there are days like this where I think....NAH, I'd really miss the changing of the seasons!

I remember scenes like that. I used to live in N. Indiana, and I must admit I do get homesick sometimes for the beauty of the colorful woods and lakes. That peace and serenity is morned most on the freeways at rush hour here. Ha.

Sure doesn't look like the praries..........lovely view Betsy!!! Ü

Gorgeous picture. Shenandoah National Park (close to me) in Virginia is beautiful this time of year also.

When I went back to NZ in our fall, it was their early spring, and it made me miss the changing of colors and the gorgeous fall colors I enjoyed on the E. coast and in Seattle area when I lived there. Yes, it is beautiful!!! And, for me, there are emotions connected with the seasons: the resting, slowing down, last HURRAH feeling of fall, the anxious 'oooo I just gotta bloom!" feeling of spring....

Thanks for the lovely eye candy!!!

Happy to provide you all with "eye candy".....but Carol, you hit the nail on the head. I love the fall colors, HATE the cold of winter (but do get some beautiful wintery scenes) ...HOWEVER, MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS SPRING AND THE ANTICIPATION OF BEING OUTSIDE, GARDENING, AND WATCHING THE EARTH WAKE FROM ITS SLEEP AND COME BACK TO LIFE!
