Curzon Dax (who turned out to be Jadzia Dax) is alive and well and back in the pond. I brought her inside into an oxygenated tupperware container. Added salt on first day, treated with antibiotic for four days. noticeable improvement by days one and two, fine by day four. I put her back in the pond on the sixth day to get advantage of greater oxygenation.
she is fine, though scarred.
Reporting this just in case others have heron damaged fish. Well, also, because i love my koi!!!!!
