heheh Poor ol' OK.
Hope you get more blooms soon Vicki ;-)
Doesn't that just make you sick. But I hope you and your family are OK.
I think it is time for the end of these darn hurricanes. Enough damage has been done.
At least OK didn't get broken.
None of my brugs were broken. Except for the top of my big x candida pink tree that now has a big banana tree laying in it. lol! I think I'm sadder about the loss of my biggest banana tree than I am the damaged brug tree. It had a nice rack of baby nanners on it.
And I lost my two papaya trees. The biggest was about 9 or 10 ft tall and so heavy with fruit, flowers and buds.
Brugs are tough! Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.... Nanners and papayas aint so tough. They fall down and they can't get up! ha! :)
Gosh Vicki, I'm sorry about your storm damage. You've managed to keep your sense of humor through it all too. You Floridians have taken a lickin and kept on tickin! I've got a sister that lives in Bonita Springs half the year and a brother that lives in Clearwater year round. The brother is ready for a break from hurricane season. I'll bet you are two. Keeping my fingers crossed that its over with!
Mary
Good to hear you are safe. Sorry you had some damage from the storm but your safety comes first. I bet those guys will bounce right back and fill up with buds soon.
You guys seem to bounce back after the storms. I think you have all had your fair share for the next 30 years or more!!!!!!!
Thank you for the nice thoughts. Thankfully the season is just about done and we can rest for the next 6 months. My loss is just a scratch compared to what the counties south of us got. I am blessed.
