Anyone heard of this type palm? May be spelled Sylvester. If so, what do you know about it?

It's a Phoenix Sylvester Palm or Phoenix sylvestris.
It's a wild date palm.
All I really know is it's hardy in Louisianna and has edible dates.
Where's Palmbob?
