I just bought 6 cuttings off of Ebay . Do I try to root in super soil or is something better ?
I have 2 different strenghts of rooting powders - I tried to root some Japanese Maples a couple of years ago - they didn't take .
I know from the little I have read there are going to be several ways to do it . I got 3 of 2 different ones so I am going to try different ways .
I also bought a rooted cutting - any advice on it ? I think it was about 6 inches tall .
Thank you .
Rooting Brugs
Hmm.. Well I would just stick them in some water.. Brugs root easy.. then when you get nubbins.. (usually less than a week) Pot themup.. good luck
tonyjr,
I've had excellent success rooting a couple dozen Brug cuttings in water. I haven't lost a single one. I just place them in a clear glass about half full of water, and change the water every other day. A bubbler helps if you have one, but isn't necessary. Once they develop a few roots, I pot them into potting soil.
Good luck to you.
Erick
