Should we have a hurricane Wilma check in? I don't know if anyone here is in that ones path or not, but I am sure saying a few prayers for everyone who is there, even though I 'm sure this one won't hit them as bad as Katrina did the others. Still, it will be rough for awhile for them.

Hopefully, Wilma won't be as severe as she was when she hit Cancun......which is where my DH was taking me in two weeks!
Boy am I happy the jet stream pushed this away from the Gulf Coast. I feel for those guys in South Florida. Worst hurricane season ever as we ran out of names, and there's now a storm named Alpha out there somewhere..
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of Wilma.

I just tried to get in touch with my two sons but could not reach either one. They are both in Palm Beach County; one in the north end and one in the south end. Hold them in your thoughts, please.

Yes, thank you.. but it was a very long day until I did. Younger son, who is in northern Palm Beach Cnty. had superficial damage to the house and roof, lost his garage door and the entire fence. Other than that, just trees down and limbs broken.
Older son is a police officer in southern PBCnty and didn't have time to say more than he is okay and he'd get back to me tomorrow or the next day when he got off duty. That was good enough for me, though. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, guys.

I have a daughter in West Palm----All we know is that they are safe and with out power....They have a nursery , so have been trying to save as much stock as they can.....
Sandy, which nursery do they have? I was born in WPB and lived there and in Jupiter for 52 years.

Just talked to Tara...(THANK GOD FOR CELS) They have No power as of now and it could be weeks.. House and nursery they live on did pretty good (LANDSCAPE GROWERS)... The one they have that lost everything is called Atlantic Nursery.....Tara said it was hard ........She also works for another nursery Rorabecks and I guess they are in pretty bad shape........
Everyone is just so Thankfull to be alive and to know that this one did not take alot of lives.....
