2 Large Vines for Trade

Wesley Chapel, FL(Zone 9a)

Bougainvillea Raspberry Ice - variegated leaves, cherry red flowers
Pubescens Jasmine - white flowers

These vines have been in the ground since Spring, and have runners several feet long. They're growing on a large trellis, and they're healthy and happy. I need to move my entire garden, and can't fit them into my new plans.

I'll trade them together, or as separate trades.

I'm looking for named tropicals - EEs, Cannas, bananas, leafy plants.

As I'm writing this, Wilma is visiting. At least the vines will be well watered.

The bougainvilla wouldn't be hardy in z7a, would it?

Steve, Hope you are'nt blown away! If you have not traded it I would like to work out a trade for you for your bouganvilla.

I have these plants to trade.

When you get settled and are safe again LMK.

I've traded the Bogie. The Jasmine is still available.

Somebody asked me for some Bogie cuttings. I prepared a package of 6 Raspberry Ice cuttings, and 6 Barbara Karst cuttings.

The person who asked me for them didn't leave me his address, and he's not in the Address Exchange.

I'm not going to let them die. If anyone is interested, let me know, and I'll mail them tomorrow.

Gail - the book says zones 10-11, but people have been telling me that they grow it all over the country. I don't know how, but they do it.

The Bouganvilla is an interesting plant. My Mother has hers in the ground in a sheltered area of her garden. We are in zone 8b. I was so surprised to see how well it's done this year. This is the second yr. it's been in the ground and it has bloomed all summer.

I would love some Bogie cuttings if you have any available for postage.

Deb,

Let me see what's available OK? I took all the young, tender cuttings I could find, but there may be some I overlooked. Are you in the Address Exchange?

Steve

Yes, I'm in the address exchange. If you do have anything, I can send you the postage through Paypal if you are signed up with them.
Thank you so much, is there anything in the way of seeds that I can tempt you with. I don't have any of the plants you are looking for, and with the last few nights down in the 30's, everything has pretty much had it.

Deb,

What kind of seeds do you have? I don't need anything in return for the cuttings, if you don't have anything I like - I'll just send them anyway.

I have a PayPal account, but I won't take money for anything I send. Besides, the postage wouldn't be very much.
