Has anyone planted any 'Double Beauty of Apeldoorn' tulips?

I bought some of these at my favorite nursery, and although I like tulips very much, I've cut way back on buying and planting them.

Does anyone have any positive or negative comments about these beauties. Below is a link of a picture of them.

When I was looking for companion perennials for my bulbs, though, I did find a listing for companions for Beauty of Apfeldorn's (not doubles) though, and you may be interested in their suggestions:

Papaver orientale 'Brilliant'
Fritillaria imperialis 'Lutea'
Hemerocallis 'Stella de Oro'

These are not companions I would have ordinarily thought of, but they could be very interesting!
