somewhere I found these people on the Internet.
http://www.crescentnursery.com/
They put out a monthly e-newsletter to which you can subscribe. I find it interesting.
They have just changed hands, so it may be an inapplicable question, but have any of your ordered from them? I found a search of Garden Watchdog did not have their new co-ordinates; so I added them.

Crescent Nursery
No, I haven't had an opportunity to order from them yet. Around the end of summer, someone on one of the forums who lived nearby said that Crescent was changing hands so that's how I discovered them. Maybe we read the same thread? Anyway, the lady that bought them had a nursery called Floral and Hardy and when I went to the website I noticed that the prices were great but they had stopped shipping for the year. As you say, Floral and Hardy is now Crescent. Now that they have amalgamated their stock, the selection sounds very promising and I hope the prices are similar.
I like her newsletter and I think I'll order next spring for sure. She says they are in zone 4b!
I'm glad you started this thread Ann. It's always very useful to know when a company has changed hands, and in this case I wouldn't have been looking anymore. They used to have a nice selection of Heucheras in their `catalogue.
Heidi (think that is her name) who has bought and moved Crescent Nursery is a dentist - also -more importantly to us - a day lily (hem) affecionado, member of hem societies so am sure there will be no tissue cultured hems in her catalogue.
Diane and (?) decided to retire. Super couple. Will miss them in the plant ordering dept. 8 of us dropped in there a few years ago, when we had a 4 day Ont. blitz -did you know I love WestJet - dropping in almost on top of RBG.
I HATE Toronto Pearson airport. Hamilton airport is like a little tiny rural airport - almost.
Inanda - tired from weeding and digging new bed today.

ditto on pearson ginny - at least until the renos are finished in 2007/8. Give me ohare any day for a well organized busy airport
My fave is SEAttle. Great underground people mover. YWG Winnipeg is a nice little cannot get lost airport. Don't even know if Westjet still has a daily flight into Hamilton. Must go look. Won't discuss other airports except to say do not buy any bulbs in AMSterdam airport even if the seller says you can. You CANT. Canada Customs will relieve you of them.
Guess where I was 10 years ago today. What was I doing. Anybody else?
Inanda
Uh????? Watching a comet? Dunno, I give up.
Inanda - were you in Montreal in connection with the referendum?
Ann
Bingo, ViolaAnn. Can't believe it was really 10 years ago. A bunch of us drove up to Montreal. Couldn't find anywhere to sleep so went to a church and stayed there for the weekend. Had told everyone to bring a sleeping bag. They had thought I was crazy, but it all worked out OK.
I've never been in such a huge (scarey) crowd in my whole life.
Inanda
I went to the 1963 March on Washington at which Martin Luther King gave his "I have dream" speech. That was huge - especially for those days. I don't remember how many were in Montreal.
Ann
LoL Inanda. You hate Pearson too huh? Try living next door to it and having your house rattle every few mins from midnight to 1am or so.....yeah, I hate it...
Ann, thanks for the link to Crescent Nursery. Apparently, I signed up for the most recent newsletter just in time......it is a nice read and I probably will visit them next year when my Ontario adventure treks start up again (I hike alot).
