Hello friends.
A friend just gave us a couple more plants and I can't remember the name of this 1 to save my life. Anyone recall? I could swear it is named after a moose or elk antler. Am I close?
Thanks all;)

Yes it is one of the Staghorns but I'm not seeing anyone that's identicle to it. It came from My Great G'ma in-law's funeral some 15 years ago. It has somehow lived in the actual pot it was sold in all those years ago. We repotted it yesterday and there was maybe 1 quart of dirt like material surrounding all the enormous tubors. We will have to divide it up soon.
We have so many hierloom plants now that were at different funerals of loved ones. There is no better way to keep someone's memory "alive" IMO. All of our plant's like this are named after the passed loved one's. Sadly, we now have more plants like this than I can count off hand. That's 1 sure sign of aging isn't it?
LOL I must laugh and keep on smiling as they would wish.
Thanks for the help;)
JD
