Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

This is another of Kells seedlings. These are the first blooms and first day open. It will be interesting to see if it darkens up some.

I think this one has the longest trendils of all my brugs.

Beautiful, Patrica! I can't wait to see if it darkens. Tendrils are tool cool! Congrats to both you and Kell!

Yep !! I think this one will be saves for next Spring.

I am so hoping this one will get real dark. Red does lighten up a lot in the cool weather but still is darker than most of my others.

I love how it is so open and upturned.

I sent these seeds out to a few people. I wonder how many are alive and kicking.

I hear from so few people back about my seeds. I always wonder if they died along the way. It takes so much oversight to make sure they live from seedling up. You can't leave for a week and forget to water them when they are babies.

I know once when I went back East to be with my Mom for a month, my husband only would water my seedlings about once a week. Too much trouble. He was in tax time. Few made it.

Thanks Patrica for keeping me informed. I really appreciate it.

I have some growing Kell but they're not nearly this big yet. It'll be next year before they bloom. This one is really pretty. Congrats to both of you.

Kell, I think I have another one or two of these that is still pretty small. They might open in the greenhouse overwinter. I will try to get one more shot of it this evening and in the morning, but you will probably have to wait until I get home to see them.

Hi Jeanne, fancy seeing you here. LOL I know you will send me pics.

I think you should post at least 1 picture of your new grandbaby so everyone can eu and ah over her. She could be movie star baby she is that beautiful. She is much more exciting than any brug flower and she is all pink too. LOL. I wish I had one of them, a pink one too.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks Patrica!! You are so good. I think we may have to wait till July to really see if they will be a darker pink. If I do not talk to you before you leave..........HAVE THE BEST TIME LADY!!!
