Loving this cooler weather. Perennials sighing a breath of relief!
Still Blooming
Terrie, you have the loveliest color combinations.
Josephine.
Thanks, Josephine. Can't go wrong with pink and blue. ;-)
lovely, Terrie. BTW. the plants aren't the only ones sighing a breath of relief, LOL
Boy, that's the truth. My mom came over today to help me do some fall clean up. Actually, she wouldn't let me do anything except boss her around. :-) It was so nice to be able to spend the day outside without that sweltering heat.
Amen! Even my decimated garden has perked up a bit with the cooler weather! I've been home sick today, but strolled around a couple times just to drink in the nice weather and the happy plants.
My flowers seem to have a smile today. :-)
Beautiful combo as usually, Terrie. Hope that shoulder of yours is healing, that has to be tuff not being able to do gardening!
Here is my pink and blue though not perennial (posted in another thread)

and here is my Achillea 'Paprika' (Yarrow) that is smiling at the cooler weather
Hi Dee! Your morning glories and cosmos mixture is gorgeous! And I just love Achillea. I know it spreads and lots of people think it is too invasive but it just gives the garden such a feminine touch, I think. :-)
Shoulder is better but still a few months to full recovery. Hope to be back in the swing of things by spring. And then I'll be up to visit you!
Will be great to see you but even greater that your fully recovered! Few months more---ooo.
At least you will be better for spring. My favorite time of year. You take care and thanks for the nice compliments. Means a lot coming from someone like you. :-) Looking forward already for Spring-------LOL
loving your color schemes............good job
jackie
It is looking good. Ours is just wild things, Mist flowers and Goldenrod everywhere.
The cooler weather is great, but now I have many things to do.
It's not too hot anymore.
trois
Thanks, Jackie (although you may be talking to Bareroots). :-) Yeah, wouldn't you know it, Trois, the weather turns cool and I had to go back to work this week. Now that I'm feeling better, wish I had another few weeks off.

Those blue salvias are just gorgeous!
Thanks, Susie! They looked a little bedraggled in September but have perked up with this cooler weather.
Ooo Terri........both you girls have done well....very pretty fall gardens.........
Gorgeous collage!
our maker is quite the gardner...Isn't he
trunnels, your garden space is beautiful.. can you identify plants?
How can we get cosmos to plant now?
caraboof,
I don't usually see cosmos available at this time, except for seeds. I think I have some coming up from re-seeded plants right now. Would you like a few? (Not sure what kind they are, or if they would survive transplanting, but I could try.)
Are you going to Mercer on Saturday?
caraboof,
If you would like some cosmo seeds I will gladly send some to you. I have the tall pink mix as in the picture above and another one called Candy stripe, and one called 'Dwarf Red'
The Dwarf Red is really a very dark maroon and some of them have yellow with them. Suppose to be all solid red.
Just email me.
Dee
