Frosty plants

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

There are some things about fall and winter which I reallly enjoy and one is the look of some plants after a frost - here are a few from the garden this morning before the sun reached them.

Great photos! We will have the same effect going on here in the next week or two I expect, although so far, still no frost here.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Appreciating the look of frost may be a specialty of northern gardening.

We've had frost for two nights in a row now. But today is glorious sun. Must get out and take advantage of it even if it is quite cool. Tomorrow they promise us more rain with a possibility of snow.

Makes me a bit sad, but still very beautiful and should be enjoyed. You have really captured some good scenes.

Donna I found those birds at Pier 1 last year just before Xmas - on sale - half price - so couldnt resist them!

I like frosty pictures, especially frost on glass.
