Have plants for someone in a warm climate/or greenhouse.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I have a bunch of stuff that is not hardy here and I really hate to waste them. I plan on taking some to my new house and keeping them under lights but there is no way I want it all. I am truly busy right now taking care of two houses and trying to move my plants so I can get the first house up for sale.

I will take the time to pack these plants up for the right person or couple of people. I would like to trade them for bulbs, hardy or not, neat house plants, really would love more Episcia-my kids killed the only one I had. :( I just don't have time to mess with more annuals right now but would like stuff I can plant inside, plant later or store until spring. I will consider seeds if you cover part of the postage (if it is ridiculous).

Please don't ask me to do this for postage right now. I'm not a selfish person, just a very busy one!

I have about 20 sun coleus, probably more, Alternanthera, hibiscus acestosella, persian shield, trying to decide if I want to give up my tropical hibiscus LOL, etc, etc, etc. I think I have a pot of Leonotis too. I'll make a proper list if anyone is interested. If there are no takers, they will die a natural death in the ground or I will give up my parking space in the new garage and pay one heck of an electricity bill. ;)

Bad - are you into bromeliads? I'll trade you a Aechmea fasciata for some sun coleus.

Glad someone spoke up, I kept reading that line 'they will die a natural death', and I was ready to come to the rescue if nobody jumped in. WHew!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Sue! Aren't you out of room yet? :) Do you want anything or just being silly? LOL

I have enough sun coleus to go around if people don't mind cuttings. I have them in pots, in the ground, in mixed plantings....I'll have to get them soon though as it is really cooling off here. :(

I'll write to everyone soon. I am headed to the other house to plant for the day and will be home tonight or tomorrow. jazzpunkin and family are coming to play plantathon!

I'll drag all the sun coleus in tomorrow and sort them out.
Thanks!

I would love the Persian shield, and I will get together a list of things to trade that you can decide on.

Edited to ask: Would be interested in spring-flowering bulbs?

I would love some of the Persian shield, it has been om my wish list for a long time, I can trade some grape Hyacinths or tulip bulbs...let me know,Karen

Wesley Chapel, FL(Zone 9a)

I have a Persian Shield. It's a few inches tall, with fairly large leaves - I propogated it a few weeks ago. I can also supply cuttings, as I have 2 large plants in the garden.

I've been trying to find a Kiwi Fern coleus, but if anyone wants the PS or cuttings, I'll send them for postage, or whatever.

Okay, I just ran through this post again. Everybody wants either sun coleus or persian shield right? I will grab the persian sheild and cuttings of the coleus when I go to the other house today. I think I have 4-6, maybe more, rooted persian shield over there and a big one in the ground here.

Knot, you want to discuss tropical hibiscus and Leo? What type of spider lilies do you have? I don't think any of my hibiscus are plain red. They are all bi color or streaked, etc.

Is that it?

Any type of bulbs would be fine. I am still moving plants from this house to my new house and stuff I don't have to plant now would be best. Of course, gotta haves would be dealt with swiftly. LOL

I have replied to everyone that has written. I will be getting together a list of the sun coleus.

I have more Persian Shield if anyone is interested.

Chele,

Would you like some Red Amaryllis bulbs? I'm getting ready to dig a hugh clump of them up. The bulbs are as big as the lily bulbs that Knot showed above. These plants bloom several times a year for me outside.
