Alocasia Calodora (Persian Palm) overwintering

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

I have a new obsession ................ I love ears and the bigger the better.

I got my first seedling Elephant Ear Alocasia Calodora (Persian Palm) early this year.

It is now 4 ft tall x 3 ft wide tall growing in a pot.
I brought it in yesterday.

Does this 'ear' need to be growing all winter or can they be put into dormancy with my other tropicals?

Thanks ;-)

Scooterbug-what tropicals do you have that you put into dormancy?

Har har

Brugs and bananas and malanga and some smaller common stuff.
Some are only in semi-dormancy.

Awwww shoot ..............
Guess all I can do is see if this Elephant Ear has a bulb and let the pot dry out if it does ???
It's the years worth of growing I dont want to loose if I kill it ;-(
