I took this yesterday after work at the plots.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I thought the background looked so cool.

This is a new seedling, first bloom. You can sure tell who the Mommy is! And I am hoping today you will be able to tell who the Daddy is too!

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

This year, I've spent most of my time learning how to care for Brugmansias. Now,I need to add some reading on who's who, what they look like and what traits they pass on to their offspring that sets them apart from other species of Brugs. Whoever this ones parents were, they sure produced a loverly offspring.

Looks like Butterfly to me - is that the Mommy Kell?

Veronica, I am just catching on now after a few years so take your time.

It does look like Butterfly, doesn't it. My first BF at least. I wonder if the one I have now is even BF. It rarely even opens all the way. Butterfly had RK as a Mom.

It is RK as the Mom . Gloria knows her brugs.

RK x Red. I am so hoping today if I get down to the plots to see, it will be dark. Though the color was good first day.

Funny how you know when a brug will be good by looking at the bud. Monday, I emailed the bud pic to some brug friends saying I thought this one would be a good one. And I was right.

This was the bud.

Would you look at the length of those tendrils!

Getting more "pretties" every day.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

It is beautiful Kell! Is that mountains in the background?

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

That is a beauty.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Another beauty!!!

Rotterdam, NY(Zone 5b)

Wow Kell....your pictures of your brugs are always a joy to see...so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It's beautiful, Kell.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Beautiful, Kell! It looks just like Red, except for the color, and hopefully that part is coming. I've had Red as my desktop wallpaper for the last YEAR, other than the few times that my DH dared to change it. (Once even to an EQUIPMENT picture, can you imagine the nerve!) I would leave it for a day, maybe two when it was a picture of our nieces or nephews, then back to Red!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

There she goes again, just dangling the bait in front of us, making us drool as usual.
Another winner kell.
