saw my first brug yesterday, in full bloom

(Zone 7b)

I feel like a teenager in love for the first time - can't stop thinking about that incredible plant - the fragrance! oh, those blooms!! I had no idea that they had such - I can't think of the word - majesty? presence? And Linda even gave me cuttings - I'm so excited! thankyou so much Linda for everything, you have a gardener's kind heart. And Cooper is a darling - with very sharp teeth. But sweet. With a taste for brugs (even at his young age, he recognises quality.)

Now, I understand what all of you have been raving about!

Again Cheryl , WELCOME to Dave's!!

Sounds like you are off to a great start with your new cuttings. I hear you are big on daylilies also. We have a few brug growers who also love daylilies. Margie and Sue come to mind. I bet you end up with more than just 1 or 2 addictions after you cruise around the rest of the forums here. Each forum is contagious..........so I am giving you fair warning. The true lovers on each forum have a way of making you desperately desire whatever they have. LOL.

my friend, who gardens, but casually, said "well, gardening isn't an addiction like smoking, or sweets, right?"
hahahahahahahaha!

right.
