A neighbor gave me some seed.... she said they were Japanese Sunflower seed.... and they were orange in color with lots of petals.
What I was able to find on the net... she said was not like the flowers she saw. They bloom in late summer on a large plant or bush type, and they are annuals.
Do any of you have an idea what these seed are from?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info... you're probably right. Saving your info and photos.
Can't wait to plant the seed and see what they look like.

Are the seeds black and pointy?
