Katrina update

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I'm not sure if any of y'all were following the saga of the girls but wanted to give an update.

We had them shipped up here mid sept and they have adjusted fine. They are getting a little furrier and seem to have adapted well to the climate change.

We hope to close on the house next week (was supposed to be this week, but title search took a lot longer than expected) and then the fun will begin. We have to put up the fence, secure a door in the barn, buy hay, feed, rubber mats and shavings. The barn floor is concrete (yuck) but its all i have for now. I'm hoping that thick mats and lots of shavings will help protect them from the harshness of the concrete.

Thanks to all that have sent emails asking for updates!!
