Anybody who wants to try their hand at germinating these seeds and attempting to grow from seed I can get you however many you want--FRESH!! The neighbor lady has a HUGE tree and the seeds are starting to get ready to fall!! (49¢ postage=37¢ plus PO's fee for hand cancelling of 12¢, return address label and a note telling me who you are here and that it is Magnolia seed you want--I'm in the Address Exchange)

Nope--postage will do it! Though.....I'm not at all sure I have Columbine 'Biedermier'?? I might have a couple of the other things you are looking for. By the way, these Magnolia seeds are from a HUGE old Southern Magnolia strain and may or may not survive in Ohio?!! I am certainly no expert!! Bonnie

I'll send you some of the columbine, I have a bunch. Let me know if you have anything else I'm looking for (i need to go update that list LOL) If nothing else, I"ll plant it in a tub until it gets too big to move LOL then put it outside year round :)

Thanks SO much

As for planting Magnolia--you need to research how to do it. I do not know, have never done so but have heard it is not easy to start?? Bonnie

I just collected some seed from my tree. I checked the ORGS seed germination website
and they suggest soaking & rinsing the seed for 7 days to remove the pulpy coating. They
also said to start it in cold for 3wks (or alternating cold/warm cycles for some species).
