Diane,
I would be interested in some seeds also. I hope someone can share some with us.
Do you know if this plant has seeds or do you need cuttings?

I am interested too, it seem pretty difficult to find some, I searched the whole site and nobody seems to have some. I would be interested in any color though.

for those in california, call or e-mail cistus nursery in Oregon c/o Josh Mc Cullough. ordered 4 live plants including their Alba (white iochroma australis) at a very reasonable price. came in great condition for live plants. bought my seeds in Europe, (acnistus - iochroma australis)believe it or not last month. i think will receive 11 seeds but have already promised some. will be willing to mail you at least one or 2 seeds if i can. keep in touch. quite new to this website. may have problems retrieving your reply so it would be better if you e-mail me jddesimas@sbc.com if interested. doris

Here it is : http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwaterwheel

The lady's very nice and her seeds are very well packaged which is not the case with a certain person on the same site that sells his seeds a very high price (no custom form, no bubble mailer).

Good luck!

Thank you, zarcanat, I have purchased seeds from her before, you are right, she is a good seller...thanks!

Just wanted to let you all know Hints Nursery ( http://www.hirts.com/cgi-local/catalog.cgi?cat=1,28,&item=3766) no longer has the seeds available as Thompson & Morgan are no longer producing this variety :(

I ordered from them and beware their shipping states best method, but when i called to check the cost i was told $1 per packet, then when i ordered they charged me $3.99 for 3 packets which i thought was okay maybe a $1 for handling,

My order came minus the 2 packets of australis, they never called to let me know this before they sent the order and they still charged me $3.99. for shipping. when called on this matter they state thats the price for web orders and i don't know who told you a $1 as that is for non web orders???

(to whom are you addressing your questions, please?)

Hi Gerris 2

I wanted to let the other people on this link know about the games Hints Nursery are playing so other people will not be fooled like i was when they try to order.

I posted the original thread here and in brugmansia forum and have had many people saying they are also looking for seeds, so just apssing on information, not really asking a question, sorry if it came across as one.

Thanks
Diane

Before I started growing my veggies from seed, I used to buy my seedlings from them and was quite pleased with their products and service.

Sorry to hear they've gone downhill, I've used them oftem as a referral. Did you post this in the Garden Watchdog?

Santa Cruz, CA(Zone 9a)

No but now i know i should i will, thanks for the tip...

Diane
