Just wondering, if you have cuttings, and the leaves fall off, why can't you still pot these in soil to try to root?

Heather, I have had moderate luck with bare stems. I do find that if the stem is maturing green wood (not really old and not fresh green) they often will root and sprout for me...takes a while!!! HTH

Yes it definitely takes awhile because I only did one and it took probably about 6 to 8 months to finally put out a root.
