Hi everybody,
I am Cheryl and this my German Shepherd, Rover. Yes, his name is Rover. He was a rescue and thats the name he came with, but he was so nervous and scared when we got him, we just did not want to add anymore stress. We got him when he was 18 months old, and pretty much had been confined to someone's basement, so he needed much socialization and obedience training. He is pretty much monster sized he is a large boned male, 110 lbs and tons of fun now. We just had a birthday party for him as he just turned 4. He is extremely sweet an playful, and the worlds best watchdog!
We took him on vacation this summer to the Outerbanks of North Carolina with us, he was better behaved than all the kids we took! This was his first time ever near the ocean, he proceeded to start drinking the water! LOL this pic is a little blurry
