This is my first attempt growing brugmansias and have been very happy with the experience so far. I am growing Rosamond (5-6 feet) and also Snowbanks (3-4 feet). The Rosamond has bloomed profusely but I am still waiting for the Snowbanks to bloom as you can see in the picture. I am aware there are several brugs with variegated leaves but I didn't know they could have a variegated flower pod. Cool! Is this common with other variegated brugs?
I know before I ask the question, that the answer will be all of them :~), but which brugs should I consider once the addition takes a stronger hold?

Snowbanks is a lovely brug but its going to be the death of me....Mine is 3 years old and at the beginning of summer it was looking like a palm tree..I repotted it and pushed the fertilizer on it...it now is very lush but did it bloom?..nope...I think as the season winds down Im seeing another Y and maybe some tiny buds...it will never bloom this season since its going into the breezeway in a little while...I wont gve up but try it again next spring...
Welcome to the forum and find a Maya..it is very easy to grow and a lovely variegated brug....Judy
I bought one last spring & it promptly died, that has been my whole experience with Snowbank! So what ever it is that you are doing with that Brug, keep doing it! It's beautiful!
Guess I'll be on the lookout for Maya! I love the Variegated look.
