wow. what a gorgeous rose. lovely pics. where (or rather, from whom) did you purchase your rose? i haven't seen Souvenir de Madame Leonie Viennot look like this anywhere else. i would love to buy it from the same place you did! again, great rose and pics. thanks for sharing.

Hi loveblossom this rose is way too big for my garden!! It is in the garden, at the nursery where I work.
Jill would have brought it from Tasman Bay Roses http://www.tbr.co.nz/ but I think this company is in the wrong country for you. ( I agree with you, it does look different elsewhere) I just had a look.

hi, bootandall. thanks for the info. yes, too far and too bad. even if i could buy it from tasman, it would be a treacherous journey i would not wish to put madame leonie through. (laugh) i'm sure i can find her here in the States...i'm just not sure she'll look quite as lovely as the ones in your pics: very lush and graceful. thanks, again!
